PE Presents!
Physical Education teacher, Mrs. Catlin, got a netbook and projector to use with her class this year. She kicked off her technology integration in PE by filming the students after they had put a lot of effort into practicing a ribbon routine. The students got a chance to perform for the camera, take part in the film editing process through Windows Live Movie Maker, then watch and review their performances through her netbook connected to the new PE Projector. Mrs. Catlin has plans to begin building a PE video library where video taped students are the instructional leaders on key PE skills and drills. Check out the Jingle Bell Ribbon Rockers from Ms. Friedmans class, also featured on the Newport Homepage during the holidays!
